pokemon-sunmoon.com wasn't registered a day before the announcement like everyone is saying, but 2 days before, on the 25th of February (Announcement was on the 27th).

What's interesting about this you ask? The domains were registered with Nintendo on the admin contact details right away (and the same was done for alternative-language versions of the domains right away.

>https://gonintendo.com/stories/252830-nintendo-grabs-pokemon-sunmoon-com-domainContrary to popular belief, you don't have to be a big company or a firm to register a domain with CSC, anyone can do it - you just need to request it through a contact form rather than directly buy it through an e-commerce frontend.
If someone who isn't Nintendo has registered these domains, squatting them is fine but putting their contact details on the WHOIS is not - that would be illegal and tantamount to fraud. It's suspicious that the contact details for Nintendo still haven't been added, almost as though they're too scared to go that far.
Anyway, the leaks might be true but all of the above is factual and is worth thinking about.
