- Fur Coat as one of its abilities (it's supposed to be able to tank hits, so why not as it reduces damaged received from physical moves by a half)
- Rock/Fighting (or Rock/Dark, which ever is better)
- Close Combat, Head Smash (or similar)

if Onix hes pretty much eternally fucked since hes only a basic stage pokemon If they buff anything of Onix Steelix and Mega steelix will need it too

What Flareon really needs is a redistribution of its stats.
HP: 65 -> 95
ATK: 130
DEF: 60 -> 65
SPA: 95 -> 60
SPD: 110 -> 65
SPE: 65 -> 110
Not the strongest mon out there, but usable.

But Shadow Punch is already complimented by Iron Fist and if it was 80BP, Golurk could have a 144BP STAB move.
