Do you thinkn we are even going to get generation 8 with brand new starters and region or are we done with new worlds and with new Pokemon in bigger quantities? At least for a few years?
Maybe this is what we'll be doing now? A series of games that revisits each region and adds more into them?
Otherwise its weird that they want to start a brand new console with a rehash, even if Kanto is popular (allthough the amount of hate on the internet right now is bigger than i thought it would be).
If Johto isnt post game then maybe next game will be Johto, then Hoenn etc
There's something very important to remember: GF told us the old crew was doing Pokemon Switch (as we know now its Kanto) while the small younger crew did USUM. Who will do next game if its supposed to be gen 8? I dont think it will be a small group of people who just couldnt add proper extensions to Alola in USUM. The old crew needs a lot of time to jump to a new gen game and clearly it wont come out in 2019 so maybe they will be doing just reboots for a while
