That pretty much tipped me off, I bought it when it got cheaper 'cause I still really like the core gameplay. That said I really hate the graphic style of XY and up.

Hawaii is pretty rich in interesting culture and lore. In theory it's not a bad idea to base a region off of it.

Only using half the islands and having the exploration be broken up by an endless stream of cutscenes? Yeah, that's pretty fucking awful.
