I actually like preparing pokemon for battles (competitive or not).And im not even battling that often.

so i guess im kinda inbetween the competitive and the casual scene

to be honest 6v6 on wifi would take forever, especially of someone is playing stall.
if BOTH play stall, a fight could go hours.
this is the main reason why they made it into 3v3 and 4v4, I know it sucks.
I wish they would just ban protect from doubles to speed up, but make it 6vs6.

Doubles is usually pretty speedy anyways though with double targeting, spread moves, and the general lack of stall mons.

competitive is boring relative to the main game (for me personally) and involves too many variables to keep up with unless you want your life to revolve around it, and I can see how it sucks the life and emotion out of people to turn them into intolerant salty pricks

to be fair most competitive players hack their pokemon or just go straight to showdown, so them wasting time and turning to pricks because of that is wrong.
I feel like people who actually breed their pokemon are more casual. Its not even that hard or takes that long to get "perfect" pokemon, especially in newer Gens
