Why is this game so good?

It's my first time playing it and I'm already hooked on it. I've only got 2 master medals because all I've been doing is dueling to get booster packs for my deck. I'm trying to build a fossil deck and a heal deck. Anyone got any other ideas on what decks to build?

Why doesn't the TCG get another game based on it?

they think tcgo is good enough but yeah id love another tcg game with gym leader style important battles to beat. i love the incentive for battling in this game. theres no exp so they give you booster packs which is way more exciting. super fun

If you can find a patched rom of the sequel, play it. Looks better, sounds better, way more cards... it's a worthy sequel to this fine game.

Haymaker. You literally need no other deck.

Alternatively, rain dance or do the wave. They're incredibly broken in the base set era.

Once you're done beat TCG2, and you should totally play TCGO.
