There are a lot of bad designs. I like them, but don't look species from Pokémon World at all.

Blue: the best. They fit in Pokémon world and I love them
Green: Great. They also fit in Pokémon world, but aren't my favorites
The rest: liking or not, I don't see them in Pokémon world

it looks like it might be based on shimenawa, so i'm guessing that's where the fairy comes from. but yeah, it does give off more a fighting vibe, like a plant hariyama.
