I decided I'm going to be replaying ultra sun (up until hokulani observatory) as many times as it takes to be satisfied with apricorn balls.

Any tips for doing that as fast as possible? Is there anything stopping me from catching pokemon in Ultra Sun, transferring them to a completed file and leveling them up massively, and then trasferring them back to Ultra Sun so theoretically they might be obedient?

To be honest I'm not really the best at collecting stuff in this game. I've only recently learned how to breed properly. And I'm still very inconsistent with farming BP. I really should probably just learn to inject by this point but I still try to offer what I can. Even helped out one or two people.

It's not, and anyone telling you otherwise is messing with you. Practically every gen they have actually changed pokemon's memory files to add more info. Gens have been adding marker symbols and ribbons for a while, I think gen 5 added egg moves to a pokemon's memory so they can be relearned, gen 6 added region markers, gen 7 added red markers and whether or not pokemon have been hyper trained. This is part of the reason pokemon can't just be transferred back. Which could probably be worked around but it's gamefreak's excuse

Basically any Pokemon that's been in a GenVII game cannot be transfered to previous games. And no, there is no super sekrit way to allow direct trading from GenVII to GenVI. The fucking manual and the box tell you what games you can trade/battle with.

Can confirm its the Beldum. Got a sweet Metagross in a Beast Ball to prove it. Catching it was pure hell though. Several fucking days of grinding and watching Beldums struggle itself to death. But it was worth it.

I'm always up to battle. I've been practicing but mostly on the Battle Spot.

my only alternative is grinding Mega Bird up to lvl 68 so it can learn Hurricane. Also thinking of a good Rain Dance partner for it so it can actually hit things.

I think the only thing I'm ailing for right now is a Toxic Spikes Weezing. Since I use it often in Showdown. I've been trying to use the GTS to get a Confagrigus but no luck thus far.

Yeah I want to test it out but my only options are a small local community and "showdown".
And even then, showdown has a ban against Mega Medi on monos (why?)
I like Jynx, but if its trash, then that sucks.
I'll switch Xatu with Espeon then.
Surprisingly, Meta is pretty bulky and has survived more than 2 hits on occasion. I'll put agility there somewhere.
