I’ve experienced something vaguely similar, but getting too involved with online communities can be detrimental. I used to play with a HL tf2 team and we were all friends, but I cut myself off from them because muh self improvement. Our team leader was a fat bitch who dropped out of art school, whereas I’m trying to make an effort to do shit now.
