PMU is an online multiplayer PMD fan-game. It features about 100 dungeons currently. 4 Regions, each with their own town & unique dungeons. Many Pokemon are obtainable including Gen 6+ Pokemon. The game features next to no narrative or story, you simply pick your starter & start to explore, recruit, and train Pokemon. The average player count is about 35-45 players depending on the time. It is typically higher during events.
>Gameplay
>Overworld
You travel throughout the overworld to all dungeons and other locations, some dungeons are locked behind familiar blockades such as a rock that requires rock smash to move past. This prevents players from entering dungeons far too tough for them or prevents them from getting strong items early on. Don't worry about a wasted party slot on an HM slave, Chimecho Assembly bells are plenty throughout the overworld. As stated above there are 4 regions. Exbel, Winden, Tanren, and Archford.
>Dungeons
It's not turn based like official PMD games. You can bring up to 4 Pokemon into a dungeon but you can only control one at a time. You can however, make a party with up to 4 other players and all explore the dungeon together at once. This would make up to 16 "total" Pokemon assuming all 4 players have a full team. There are currently about 100 dungeons in the game that you can explore, the game also has event dungeons for holidays such as Christmas & Halloween.
>Small things
The game has it's own economy, players constantly sell items and compete with other players selling stuff. Item prices can fluctuate depending on if that item is now common in an event dungeon or some other method. You can also build and map your own house you can also choose to turn your home into a store to make money while you're gone.
