He looked like some cool mystic ghost-like pokémon without legs, and fuck yeah I decided to train mine.
Then years later on the internet, I saw how everyone wanted to fuck him and how people got either upset or aroused at the idea of a male Gardevoir (my Gardevoir was male). Then the more years went by the more things got perverted, and I decided to stay the fuck away from Pokémon fans unless leaks or new released were happening.
The final nail in the coffin was how GameFreak cemented him as this cute fairy waifu bride pokémon by gen VI by giving him fairy typing and the most waifu shitter megaevolution ever. Like, okay, I don't mind, but I never got the idea Gardevoir started with the intent of being overly girly, unlike Gothitelle. Why does Mega Gardevoir look like a fucking bride instead of something mysterious and cool? Why do they have to pander to THAT kind of waifufags?
I still like him despite everything and I used one in AS but damn. Fuck Gardevoir fans and fuck GameFreak for fueling their flames. I hate how this fandom would fuck anything vaguely shaped like a human being.
