It was fresh, 180+ new mons, national dex after game is beaten, absolutely masterfully done post game, most balanced meta in the entire pokemon history, one of the best villain teams and villain leader/leaders, some of the best music, battles, elite 4, champion, battle stadium.... etc.
it was basically a brand new pokemon remake, most the mons resemble kanto mons ffs.
I think I understand why genwunfags hate it so much now. Because it was better in every single aspect.
Granted, Rocket as the mafia was pretty cool, and I grew up through gen1. Yet, I have no nostalgia of it as it's constantly crammed into my ass.
I just want a new game like B/W that isn't terrible like S/M US/UM...
