Is crystal better than silver/gold?

I wanted to replay silver for nostalgia and play crystal with kris and some fun team. Should I just play crystal twice, or skip silver and just play crystal?

It's mostly the same as Gold/Silver, it just has a Battle Tower and some encounter rates are changed (like getting early game Phanpy and Teddiursa). It really isn't worth the cost or effort.

I've completed the game 4 times (one with every starter plus one solo run with Feraligatr)

I have never use the mons on the list and since most of them are "early" encounters i'll like to try them.

These are all still factory sealed. I used to buy a new copy every time I wanted to do a new play through and I guess I never got around to these.

That would be because they're in moon runes and every Japanese person who has an interest already has a copy.
However the English versions has a far larger pool of potential customers with a similar or even smaller print run.
