I would be hyped I enjoy pokemon special and would be fine with adapting it for the games. They already have way better plots than the games do.

it's a shame that red and green might not be the protags. i'd be super hyped if you could have a choice of red, green, blue/leaf and yellow as protags. i always used to play as leaf in frlg but the implications of red and blue having a non-protagonist role seem to indicate she gets shafted, again

that said, if the new character is based off of yellow... i'd be down for that.
