True, keep in mind, they represent opposites. Pikachu and Eevee like many leaks spouted out can represent Tradition (a singular path, sunny, cheery,) and the Innovation ( branching paths, neutral, yet reminiscent of dirt given the brown to represent possibilities.)
Either way, it makes sense if they wanted to break the cycle they break with those two- but still mad if these rumors are true with Clefairy being Pikachu's opposite (it is from Space and for many Space = Future, was meant to be the mascot for Pokemon, could represent the Moon as Pikachu could the sun etc.)
I mean, what do you guys think? Would you guys play Let's Go Clefairy instead if it meant in both games you could get an Eevee and them?
Also- will these pokemon be able to breed? Will it be like with Lycanroc where their Mutant Pokemon (pokemon with special abilities that lead to special evolutions like Dusk Rockruff.)
So many questions for a probable fake set of games lol.
