>>35624707It's a fun yet frustrating time-waster. Most of the bs comes from the moves the pokemon have- lots of Pokemon have evasion and status moves that specifically abuse RNG. When you're going up against a Meganium with grasswhistle, leech seed, double team and substitute there's not much you can do outside of pray that the turn rolls in your favor.
Some facilities are better than others. The Factory, Pike, Tower and especially Pyramid are all actual challenges that make you think. I have no idea how the Dome is meant to be different from the Tower outside of being a tournament and being 2 vs 2. The Arena is pretty much the same, just that you have to finish the match in 3 turns or less or you could get judged out, not a big challenge here. The Palace is probably the most obnoxious because it's the most dependent on RNG and several predetermined factors like natures that you can't control while in the battle. You could raise appropriate pokemon, but it's the most tedious by far.
