What Pokemon would be good companions? And I don't mean in the sexual way, I mean on an emotional level, which ones would be good to just tell your troubles to and ease your pains?
I may or may not be feeling like total shit and looking for a form of escapism

Even the trashest pokemon can be your best companion/partner when you grow up with it together.

Actually, any pokemon is a good companion.

But if you need a specific one, Lucario would be a good friend. He's able to know what you feel, and would cheer you up since it's loyal to trainers. Plus, he talks through telepathy

Half of /vp/ are basement dwellers so they wouldn’t have the responsibility required. Real life experience with pets would help, but some weird gray areas would be entered with psychic/ghost/fighting types because tfwtoosmart or too humanoid to be considered pets.
