I was gonna suggest one of the two great grass pokemons available early, but whatever. I guess try out Whimsur/Exploud? They're better now that you don't have a single TM/HM use, and they have a huge movepool to choose from.

This was most of my team on my last run with breloom and alakazam rounding out the team. Never used any of them before, and it was quite fun. Crawdaunt is especially cool because of the physical/special split

I want to recommend Aggron, but apparently you can't get Aron in this remake until you've got a Mach bike.
Unironically try Pelipper, you can Dexnav Roost or Aqua Ring as a move for it.
