I've been here for years since /vp/ was made as the containment board when HG/SS threads flooded /v/. This is genuinely one of the worst. Compare gen 5, 6, and 7's announcement of games and we had almost a full year of info before release each time. Sure we didn't get monthly info but we still got it since the time frame was, well, there. When those games were announced (at least gen 6 and 7) in the early months of their respective year, we got plenty of info since it was really early. But we have no game, no news, no calls, not anything other than "It's a traditional catch and gym battle game" and "it's going to be on Nintendo Switch"
And if you think that's bad... Fire Emblem 16 hasn't had a single bit of news since it was confirmed to be happening.... since the FE direct from January of 2017.
