Yes it was even a bad unnecessary mechanic to Necrozma. Only done well with Kyurem and should stay that way.

If we have more than of a handful of fusion pokemon like ultra Necrozma to counter megas n z moves it could work. Powerful pokemons plus powerful moves. Imagine normal evo pokes, 1 mega, 1 z moves and 1 fusion on your team during battle. I like that concept. It just need to be balance. You want new ways how to battle or take down pokemon not the same strategy
