I hope they announce a new Mystery Dungeon with whatever the hell the big reveal will be. Switch or 3DS, I don’t care which system.

This may sound ridiculous and I’m aware of that but I REALLY want the Mystery Dungeon series to return to 2D graphics. The series just didn’t transition well in to 3D and playing the DS games just has a better feel to it and I wholeheartedly think that’s because of the 2D graphics and animation

I love the PMD world and storylines but the fucking battle system of all those Mystery Dungeon games makes me want to shove a stop sign up my ass and bleed out.

Honestly, I think the 3D games look pretty great, but the dungeon layouts are awkward as fuck. Every floor is huge and every room is tiny and there's a fuckton of corridors. The older games had this type of layout too, but not as the only layout there was.

I honestly am not sure, my first combo was Cyndaquil and Eevee and I did fine, eventually made Eevee a Glaceon, but evolution opening up takes a while in these games.

I like Shinx a whole lot in the game though.

Treecko is amazing for Bullet Seed and Agility, Agility is fucking absurd in Explorers and with Bullet Seed you'll be clearing entire Monster Houses before they can make a move.

Hard disagree. The 2D games were ugly as fuck and I played them in spite of the graphics, not because of them. The 3D is much more appealing and leads to way better looking dungeons.

It could be announced at E3. Super was announced there 3 years ago. Sadly, if it doesn't happen, then my dreams of a cheesy alien invasion story involving ultra beasts and native pokemon will be dashed.

I used to think like this but in retrospect there's actually something very fun about dungeon gameplay, especially when it's hard. It can get dull when it's easy though.
