>>35642335Yes, you idiot. If Unova had been the first generation, then that art style would be the default, and if they later came out with Kanto mons they would look weird in comparison. Whether they'd look better or worse is a matter of opinion, but it's still going to piss people off when the world is established with having the monsters and characters in a certain style, and then gradually new ones go in a new direction that looks out of place with them.
Some people care about consistency. Others don't.
