Why is it the women in Pokemon don't get as much love as the little 10 year old girls?

I mean Cynthia is one of the few exceptions, and maybe Flannery, Skyla and Elesa, but besides them everyone prefers the kid female characters instead.

i imagine it's because most of us around here hardly knew what to do with our little diddlies yet growing up, and then someone like Whitney or Misty etc. shows up and awakens the hidden boner

the adult-ish girls then tend to too reminiscent of authority figures e.g. parents and teachers, so they were to be avoided

Pokegirls in general don't get that much attention. It's really only player characters or those who are co-leads, and even then, they don't always. See Iris, and Kris. It's a miracle Cynthia managed to get popular at all.
