>>35666420>What's the deal with giving everyone Fighting typing? All Pokémon fight to an extent, but they way GF assigns typings changed around Gen 6. It used to be that all Fighting types represented some sort of martial arts, but that ended with Chesnaught, Pancham and reused fighting styles for inspiration. A lot of these Pokémon are irrelevant due to being monotypes, Fighting makes sense on them and would improve them greatly.
>What's the deal with giving everyone Dark typing?Larvitar and Pupitar could be pure Rock as well, but the only three-stage Dark line we have is Sandile's and Larvitar looks about as evil as Sandile does.
Just because Ninjask flies, it doesn't have to part-Flying. It is fast and ruthless and based on a ninja.
Goths can be associated with Dark type and dark magic pretty easily.
Huntail looks more menacing to be just pure Water and would also improve it greatly.
I already explained Toucannon.
>What's the deal with giving everyone Fairy typing?I'm applying GF's rules for most of these. If Alolan Ninetales is part-Fairy, there is no reason for Kantonese Ninetales not to be.
Healing is now Fairy's gimmick, so Alomomola makes sense.
Mega Altaria has no features that warrant the Fairy typing more then its pre-evolutions.
Banshees are fairies, it makes more sense than Mimikyu's typing.
The moon is now heavily associated with the Fairy typing, and pixies should be Fairy. GF just didn't want to retype single-types that weren't Normal.
