That shouldn't stop them from making a boy a Fairy-user, however. Fairy embodies compassion and femininity, which sort of invites homosexuality taunting in males, but I say, who cares? Either Ilima is feminine because he is gay, or he isn't and that has nothing to do with it, but in either case, being called a fairy should not be seen as that high of an insult. We ought to evolve past the days when kindness was stigmatized.
