Yes, whilst I do understand that the flat cap is generally for old men; and that it does look rather odd on a young lad like Lucas, I find it unique and, daresay, somewhat charming.
It complements his outfit. More specifically, his DP outfit.
But, overall, I think his cap hat looks better than, say, Nate's visor.
