-While Johto isn't in the game (except for Mt. Silver), you can explore parts of the Original Kanto through Ultra Wormholes in the post-game. This allows you to catch the original versions of all Kanto Pokémon.
-However, if you are lazy and if you have money, Poké Bank allows you to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon GO into the new games. I do not know if the new Pokémon can be transferred into Pokémon GO or if you can get the Alolan variants in any way.
