If people think Luxray should be Dark-type because it's black, why do they never say Unown should be Dark-type?

Not only is Luxray black, it also looks suitably menacing and the only moves it learns naturally are Normal, Electric and Dark.

If it had been released as a Dark type originally, nobody would have bat an eyelid or thought it was out of place.

It also looks like it never got out its emo phase, but let's be real, gen 4 and 5 dexes are chock-full of typings that doesn't make any sense: a dragon/water deity of space and a dragon/steel deity of time? Fire-electric Tao inspired duo? And those are even the Box legendary.

Its not just because its black. Luxray and Goodra are prime examples of Pokemon that are clearly designed with another type in mind, but weren't given said type for some reason.
