Just tried ultra moon today.
I was bearing the cutscenes for a while but then i got the rotom dex and holy shit, how did they make it more annoying?
Is there anything at all worthwhile about USUM if you never even completed SM out of disdain for the gameplay?

The only saving grace in USUM for me was the move tutors giving me neat options for moves. Otherwise, no, you're basically replaying SM.
