Incineroar's OVERALL design feels perfectly fine to me. I see stripes, I see red and a firey gimmick indicating its type, I see a tiger head with fur and snarling teeth, two legs or four, the overall design tells me it's a tiger. The main complaint people have, the supposed cartoony proportions, don't really bother me because then a fuck-ton of other pokemon suffer or benefit from that and having long digits at least makes sense for its wrestler gimmick. Dark type is fine to me because fighting dirty makes sense for dark-types, a wrestling wrinkle is a nice twist on that. I'm only bothered by it being on two legs but whoop-de-doo, so are a lot of other mons and I've seen official-style art putting it on four legs anyway, so my autism on that front is settled. Really, Incineroar's 'design' suffers more from nu-pokemon art style than the wrestler gimmick, dark-typing, or even the huge fingers. An old-school Sugimori art of it without actually changing anything about it would probably make it look fantastic.
