In GSC it was clearly stated that the Safari Zone was CLOSED. Not some project that has been started.
And then again, GSC were on a fucking gameboy and expanded a lot from the previous games, so losing the safari zone was a minor inconvenience.

Seriously, this excuse is so fucking overplayed it's not even funny.

Especially when it's used to justify DLC and MTs. As if the companies wouldn't do perfectly fine without the extra revenue by their own admission in the case of EA, the largest cocksucker doing this.

Even if it was true that they needed that funding rather than it just being them wanting all the money, using development costs isn't anargument when most people would be okay with so-called lesser graphics and better gameplay.

When you decide to do something in a way more expensive fashion than the majority of your consumers even want, you don't get to complain about it's cost or how hard it might be you just need to stop fucking making it that way.

HG/SS and OR/AS did the exact same thing in that they both simply lifted pre-existing postgame facilities and copied them over almost wholesale into their respective games. HG/SS only got a full-scale Battle Frontier because they were able to copy it over from Platinum with ease. OR/AS got stuck with a Battle Maison because they were able to copy that over with ease. The thing is, if X/Y had a Battle Frontier, that's what we would have gotten in OR/AS, even if it had different facilities from Emerald.

And that's because GF are idiots anon not because the games themselves are particularly big, hell they're some of the smallest games to date.
The problem is that they kept in almost all of the older maps from previous builds and rushed the game out without a proper cleaning.

Not really no.
I and many others by the looks of things had already done the BF previously in Platinum and thus had no intention of replaying it in HGSS while in Crystal it was all new.

OR/AS were remakes of Ruby and Sapphire. Those games did not have a Battle Frontier. HG/SS are the exception for remakes in that they added content from their third version. FR/LG did not add the ability for your starter to follow you, they did not add the surfing minigame. FR/LG instead added the Sevii Islands. OR/AS instead added the Delta Episode and those islands you could Soar to.
