Ive known of proposed Nintendo games in the early stages of development that never gotten greenlit, i even watched people attempt to "leak" those games before they were even canned only to have them look dumb once the game was never even announced.
For instance i knew about Miiverse as early as October 2011, it was called "Wii Link U" at that stage and my source told
me about it in great detail, along with its compatibility with "A New Super Mario
Bros sequel with a world map similar to Super Mario World" -
Miiverse and NSMB U ended up getting revealed at E3 2012.
I also was told about early development for Yoshis Wooly World about a week before E3 2012, and was told during that same conversation that both Bayonetta 2 and Devils 3rd were possible announcements for E3 next week but the contracts hadnt been finalized.
If incame forward and told eveyone Bayonetta 2 was going to be a Wii unexclusive at E3 id have looked like a dumb ass because the announcment got delayed till September, thats why most people with inside sources keen their damn mouths shut instead of constantly gambling their credibility in hopes of attaining celebtity online.
