I am perfectly fine with the battles looking mostly the same. Hopefully with slightly more accurately scaled Pokemon, but mostly the same. The models were made for future proofing after all. Can't really see what else they'd do to change em.
But god damn the over-world needs improving. A slightly improved gen 7 is not acceptable.
They need to go even further beyond.
