Guys, help me out here please. I've only ever played 1st gen games, but now my gf gave me one of her DSes and wants to have a big battle with level 60, six Pokemon teams in Crystal. I've gathered a team of Pokemon I've had experience with (Dragonite, Snorlax), ones that I always wanted but had no one to exchange with (Alakazam, Golem) and two newcomers that seemed fun (Lanturn, Skarmory).
I remember Snorlax learning Double-Edge in 1st gen, but apparently he does not in 2nd. Yet I see that certain sites (smogon, for example) mention it in his moveset. How the hell do I teach it to him?
Also, general advice, please. I know that my gf is going to use Gengar, Gyarados, Typhlosion and Snorlax. She also metioned wanting to transfer to evolve Kingdra.
I've set up my Alakazam with elemental punches, and Dragonite with Dynamic Punch and Ice Beam (want to teach him Fire Blast and something water-y). I wonder whether or not breed and bring up Golem and Skarmory again, as apparently I can't teach Rock Slide to Golem, and I want Drill Beak on Skarmory. Lanturn is pretty generic.
It will be my first time fighting other player; I'm scared
