Exactly. I'm still salty to this day over it.
I wish they would go back and retcon majority of the shinies. Color palettes generally look worse than the normal pokemon and all the cool shinies are pre-evos that later look like shit

I wish they would because shiny colour used to be calculated by matching hexidecimals and not picked out of care, just by an algorithm machine. That's why so many pink Pokemon turn blue.

It's the only shiny I've encountered on a real cartirdge that I don't still have, because when I deleted that emerald file I checked my storage for any shinies and didn't notice it because it just looks fucking normal. It wasn't until way later that I was like "wait didn't I have a shiny seel?" and then I realized EXACTLY what I did with it.

According to PokeBank, I saw a shiny Gible at some point in the last two gens despite not owning one. I did not know this because shiny Gible and normal Gible look exactly the fucking same.
