Gen1 fag here, although I grew up with Gen1 and Gen2, Gen5 is one of my favorites. Good story, good songs, nice mon, attempt to reinvent the game without needing to appeal to crazy things like Mega and Z-moves.
All the hate comes from Sinnohfags who think that gen 4 is superior all the others, cartoonfags or nostalgic people who in many cases don't even play the game anymore and criticize the design of some of the new mon.
Pure kino, particularly B&W2, I still play the damn game btw.
