This is legitimately the only time I'm not excited for a "mainline" pokemon game. The leaks actually got me hyped for LGPE, because I bought into the "set several years after RBY/FRLG" meme.
But instead Kanto looks exactly the same, the story seems to be exactly the same, probably no Sevii Islands, and to make it worse it's ANOTHER Kanto game where you can't fucking evolve Golbat or Scyther because only gen 1 matters.
At this point the only I expect from these games is good porn with the protags.
