No. Pokemon GO has used the current type system that was in place since Gen VI. Magnemite and Magneton are Electric/Steel. Clefairy and Clefable are pure Fairy rather than Normal. Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, and Mr. Mime have the Fairy-type added as a secondary type but keep their primary type.

It's a shame that we won't have any Dark-types in these games unless they bring in the Alolan variants of Meowth, Rattata, and Grimer.

yeah but there were also pokemon from gens 2 and 3, while its basicly confirmed that the new games are only going to have the original 151 pokemon. So they could bring it back for "nostalgia"

Supposedly you can import the Alolan versions from Pokemon Go, but they haven't said if they'll be available in game somewhere, like the Safari Zone or some island.

The Q&A confirmed that you can store them in boxes (like the main games, only instead of the PC it's in the bag). Since they don't evolve, you can catch Pikachu / Eevee in the wild that do instead.
