This game is Game Freak finally, officially admitting to absolutely everyone that they do not care about the quality of their games anymore, that they know people will buy their games no matter what they put out, and that they'll continue to pander to genwunners because it's been a working tactic so far. Gen 8 is not going to do anything bold, it's not going to do anything risky or innovative. It'll be the same shit you've gotten for 20 years now, but even worse and more casualized.
They're inviting the Pokemon GO crowd directly to the Switch. Do you really, honestly think they're not going to make Gen 8 pander to them? Gen 7 pandered to them hard, and there was no GO spinoff on the 3DS. It's only going to get worse from here on out.
