The games will sell regardless, but they won't sell as well as Gamefreak think they will, but there is backlash and Gamefreak know this, why else would the announce Gen 8 as well?

I doubt we'll even get a Gen 8 game until 2020 or 2021. Pokemon Go is a large thing now, and Gwn 1 has always been the most popular. Following Littlest Pet Shop, you can't flipping have more than 3000 creatures and expect kids to buy them all. They're dumb but still have limited income. Honestly, not sure why they didn't make Pokemon Cashgrab sooner.

Just look at their new Japan bundle without the dock and AC adapter - a total scam. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, here:
¥5000 less than regular MSRP (¥29980 > ¥24980.
Dock costs ¥9698 MSRP.
AC adapter costs ¥1080 MSRP which you need to buy separately.
You buy a dock-less bundle and you still need an AC adapter so not getting the dock saves you ¥3920 total. Want a dock? Even at AmiAmi's cheap price, it's still ¥7800. A third-party dock is on average about ¥4500.
TL;DR Nintendo is ripping you off if you buy this bundle.
