I don't think so, we already have a lot of pokémon so I can't see them adding all the pokémon at the same time but I think that they will add new pokémon with every game of the generation and get around 90 by the end

I think 2019 is the 'core game' they announced at e3. LG still is mainline technically. I could see it being established as alternating between core and LG, with other regions being done in the style. Maybe we could see a region built around the mechanics of LG?
