>>35720327I reckon there will be a filler saga, a small one that takes place in Pallet town and around the lab, similar to how the anime is now, instead of traveling the region again, Ash will just fly off with Charizard to places but the main stay area will be Pallet town. Gives us a chance to see his older Pokemon again and give them some more development.
We're still yet to see any of his Pokemon from Gen 4 onwards interact with each other.
