Oh boy Oh boy I sure hope they've finally done something special to the vermillion construction site and it's not just the exact same patch of dirt with a machop and a old man FOR THE FIFTH FUCKING TIME.

- Surprisingly the same, excused since kanto had to be rushed and simplified.
- A straight up remake of gen 1 so it makes sense to keep it that way
- Kanto was finally fleshed out and yet... let's just believe that since the old man claimed to have run out of money in gen 2 they didn't want to contradict the story of the game they were remaking
