I should hope that SOMETHING has changed in Kanto but from the looks of it everything is the same. Mt. Moon was a tunnel Brock used to help used to mine fossils for the museum. Are we seriously going to say that after 22 years Mt. Moon looks exactly the same? And why are we using a grid style of building the world now with completely new assets, could we not flesh out Kanto a LITTLE bit? I know that region better than I know myself at this point. The thing is though is that I know someone's thought process at GameFreak is that "we don't want to disrespect the Kanto region by changing it." Ok cool. We've traveled this fucking region for 2 decades now! And we've used the same Kanto Pokemon even more because they keep showing up in every other region!
They can't think people want to play Red and Blue over and over again forever can they?
