What would happen if Masuda or whoever directs LGPE died? Just of a heart attack or something, nothing violent, but would the games be cancelled if something "tragic" like that happened at gamefreak?

The games are 95% finished by the time they're announced. There would just be an "in memory of" added to the credits.
