these are kanto remakes with updated mechanics. As far as I can tell it's just a yellow remake using new gen 8 battling mechanics.

FRLG was a great upgrade from the original games. The only thing missing is the physical/special split

Best timeline for me because I've been wanting a Sinnoh one for fucking ever. The only thing I could agree with is that Kanto needs to be playable with the phy/special split.
