It will have the biggest development period of any pokémon game(4+ years).

Personally the 2019 game is arguably the most important game in the series for me. If it's free from the simplification and go mechanics then I'm sure I'll still enjoy them and there's some hope for the series to recover back to pre 3ds days. If it ends up being influenced by let's go like with wild pokemon and the simplification then I'm probably done with the series. I'm happy that other people may enjoy these games as a result of the simplifying but at the same time those games will no longer be for me so I'll have to just accept that.

This got a legitimate chuckle outta me, to appease the "competitive" players huh? What super mega evolution are the block? ABX moves? Maybe give an evolution to Dunsparce? Putting emphisis of the "competitive players" does not put me at ease

Bitch, the "franchise" is juggernaut divided into many money-making factions from the core games/spin off games/multiple phone games/card game/movies/TV/merchandise/all sorts of shit with the Pokemon name attached over in Japan.
