No it hasn't, the CP is just for transferring to Go. There are no candies or anything in LG and you can clearly see an XP bar in the battle screen. If the only way you guys can shit on this game is by making shit up, it must be the best title in the series

Although, maybe this could be cool, the CP can show difference in strength between leveled Pokémon, meaning you can catch a level 15 that is stronger than another level 15.

Maybe CP in this case is just telling you it's over all IV rating? Who the fuck knows, though, it's all in the air.

Grinding is the exact opposite of challenging though, it literally casualises the game by providing an easy way to beat enemies. Removing the ability to grind against wild Pokemon is a good thing.

According to Masuda gen 8 won't draw too much if any influence from Go. The games announced at e3 last year are 2019 games not these ones. And development started before the switch release. That means we have at least 3-4 years dedicated to gen 8. And it will be a new core game. This one is just to tide us over.
