This is why you should never get actually attached to a fucking IP. All y'all are now are just another jilted fanbase who learned the hard way that your beloved developers will tell you to go fuck yourselves the second they determine that ruining something forever in your eyes is the best business decision in their eyes. To a lot of you, Pokemon is a significant, very important and to the more autistic of you, sacrosanct entity (rightly or wrongly). To them, and in fairness, they made the fucking thing, it's a product and they feel that there's more money to be made by replacing (relative) quality ingredients with cheap, shitty ingredients. And you know, they're probably right with that assessment. For every one devout Pokefag that calls it quits over the direction things are going, there's going to be 10 normies that think using fire moves on grass Pokemon is too hard to take your place. Even if the next "core" or "mainline" or whatever the fuck you want to call it game is everything you wish it to be, it doesn't matter. Long run, Go style negro tier Pokemon games are going to become the new normal. The last IP I actually *cared* about was Final Fantasy, and almost every gamer knows how that turned out. Did SE care? No. And neither will GameFreak.
