A Pokémon that would get back to the series roots wouldn't cut 3/4 of the dex and fucking wild battles that exists since the so loved Gen 1, it would be a game without a story with a fucking megalomaniac villain that want to use the legendary to change the world, but about a guy that is trusted by the professor to get all the badges (most of them in any order) and collect all the fucking Pokémon of the dex. They would add some characters to act like an antagonist, so the game wouldn't be barebones, but you wouldn't cut not content, but fucking mechanics that evolved with the series.
